Having left Japan two days ago, we are steaming along on a northerly course towards Kamchatka Peninsular, with a string of islands to our port side. Frozen wastes, no vegetation, rocky shores, snow and ice...on decks chilling temperatures, moderate winds and a wicked windchillfactor.
Digging out my Antartic layers, as they seem to be more neccessary here than they were in the Antarctic Peninsular.
