A last lone thistle... |

Rows and rows of vines, all covered with veils to protect them from being eating by deer, bears, racoons and birds. After a summer filled with sunshine and very little rain, this year's harvest should a wine lover's delight. |

The hay is baled and stored, deer graze here in droves at dawn and dusk, morning fog lingers... |

My neighbourhood....a young black bear spotted on 'the Ridge' made a temporary appearance and convinced himself that flower gardens are best left to deer. He went back into the surrounding woods, probably preparing his hibernation den. |
A blessed Thanksgiving to All....
